Meet the Clinician
Beth Katz is a Masters-level, board-certified music therapist and Neurologic Music Therapy Fellow passionate about helping clients attain cognitive, sensorimotor, speech/language and social-emotional goals through evidence-based interventions that come from the intersection of neuroscience and music.
Beth studied Vocal Jazz Performance at the University of Massachusetts Amherst where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree. She went on to earn her Master of Music Therapy degree from Augsburg University in Minneapolis, MN and received board certification in 2019. Beth is also a Level I Trained Assessor in the MATADOC, the music therapy assessment tool for detecting awareness in disorders of consciousness.
Beth has extensive experience working with all ages from birth to end of life care and in hospitals around New England including Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital, Bradley Hospital and Boston Children’s Hospital.
